This is a very popular pub situated at the bottom of the village
(on the old A1).
As it gets very busy, it is worthwhile booking for the restaurant

It is within walking distance - about 250 yards.
Please take a torch with you (on the umbrella stand in the
porch) if it is likely to be dark when walking back.

to gardens is required. Menus on the information stand.
Open for Dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from
6.30pm - 9.30pm. Interesting use of local produce on the a
la carte menu.
