Whilst relaxing in rural Northumberland you might like to undertake some of the activities that are in our locality. All sessions are suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their skills.

Photography
Get some tips and advice from a local expert to get the most from the dramatic scenery of Northumberland.

Bird watching
Guided bird watching and wildlife tours in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you need binoculars you can borrow ours.

Fly fishing
All aspects of fly fishing tuition given. Ideal for beginners and experienced anglers. All equipment provided.

Clay pigeon shooting
An opportunity to try the sport of clay pigeon shooting, with high quality individual tuition. Shotgun, cartridges and clays provided for the session.

Horse riding and pony trekking
Fancy riding on the beach overlooking Holy Island. Beginners to more experienced riders catered for with horses to suit all capabilities.

Microlight flight
Try a trial flight from a nearby flying school.

Golf
Our local PGA professional offers golf tuition plus a range of courses for people new to the game – loan of clubs included.
We also have a driving range and some excellent links courses nearby.
