Belsay Hall & Gardens

Cragside House, Gardens & Estate
The palace of a modern magician, inventor Lord Armstrong set in a fantastic woodland estate. Cragside gardens and estate has one of the largest rock gardens in Europe and is home to the increasing rare red squirrel.

Wallington
The largest country estate protected by the National Trust. Country house, set amongst woods, grounds and gardens. Including its enchanting walled garden.

Howick Hall Gardens
The gardens at Howick are deliberately aimed at garden lovers who can wander through the natural extensive grounds. Howick was the home of the Grey family from 1319.

The main house has not been inhabited since 1967 and is not open to the public. The Earl Grey Tea House serves snacks, light lunches and afternoon teas.
